NW Senior Editor Phil Hochmuth, a big proponent of Total Recorder for recording interviews, passes along this tip:
The latest version (5.3) has global hotkeys. This let’s you hit play, pause and jump around in the audio file with keyboard commands without ALT-TAB-ing out of Word or whatever you’re writing in. A nice new feature. (Better than having to run WinAmp just for listening to interviews).
