That’s what Websense today announced as the number of sites hosting phishes or malicious code. This includes a 170 percent rise in spyware-related sites (130,000 today) and a 271 percent growth in phishing and other fraudulent sites (27,000 today) since last year. Laws of averages dictate that even educated users would stumble upon some of these malicious sites. So we need to stay vigilant and remind our friends and family to be careful where they go and what they click on the Internet.
