In case you missed the piece in our recent 20th anniversary issue, one of the most popular stories we ran (based on the number of people hitting the story online, anyway) is a Q&A with Bill Yeager, a former Stanford researcher credited with developing the first router but who didn’t get to go along for the ride at Cisco. “I’m sort of a persona non grata down there at Cisco,” he says.
