Nice to see AT&T offering a hefty $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the criminal(s) who left a swath of California without landline or wired telephone service yesterday.
Makes me wonder how many people know or suspect — right now — who put so many lives in danger and caused such massive disruption. It’s possible the perpetrator acted alone and hasn’t told anyone … but I’m thinking that the chances are better that’s not the case.
How many has he told? And how many have they told? (Yes, I presuming it was a man. Anyone think otherwise?)
If it was done as a lark, it probably seems a lot less funny today. If it was done out of spite, someone’s going to be missing a nose soon.
If you did it, don’t tell me, because I’d rat you out for half that amount.
