Microsoft Subnet is pleased to announce the winners of our giveaways from sponsors New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Global Knowledge Training and book publishers Pearson Education.

Jesse Hoffman, a network solutions engineer won the February grand prize of a Microsoft training course worth up to $2,995 from Global Knowledge by successfully answering the following question: In the January 29 blog post made by Windows Server 2008 blogger Glenn Weadock, Weadock asked the question will Windows 7 be another _______? Answer: Will Windows 7 be another Vista.

Hoffman says that he plans to use his Global Knowledge training to take a course on one of the hottest new Microsoft technologies such as OCS, Exchange 2007 or Windows Server 2008. Hoffman says he likes Microsoft products and thinks that the company often gets an undeserved bad rap. He says he’s looking forward to how Windows 7 changes the general perception of Microsoft products, and is highly interested in the new unified communications technologies in OCS and Exchange 2007.

In addition, the following 15 people won a copy of the book Exchange Server 2007 How-To: Real Solutions for Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Administrators by J. Peter Bruzzese, published by Sams (a $29.99 value), courtesy of Microsoft Subnet partner Pearson Education. (We have a free sample chapter of the book for your enjoyment. Check it out here.)
