Eric Engleman of Seattle’s TechFlash flags an interesting Vanity Fair piece chronicling efforts by the New York Times over the years to adjust to new challenges and opportunities posed by the Internet. Among the tales: an aborted partnership between the newspaper and Amazon.com that “could have made the Book Review into a big source of revenue.” … Ah, opportunity lost.
