Post flight and now registered at the largest voice and unified communications event on the planet, I walk into the exhibit hall where every major player in this marketplace begins to configure their booths and demonstrations on the eve of tomorrow’s demo central. The major theme at this event “Unified Communications”. As Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya, and others prepare take the main podiums tomorrow to explain their strategy, software, hardware, and vision, I pace around the exhibit hall with my director of voice services, Mike Stacy, seeing what is to come in the world of voice.
