Cisco is using the RSA event this week to announce tons of new security features and products. Over the years, Cisco has chosen the RSA show’s venue to publicly reveal its major new security products and enhancements. There is quite a buzz around this year’s RSA event so we should expect to see some key announcements out of Cisco. One leading indicator of this is that Cisco is having their CEO, John Chambers, keynote at the show. Any time Cisco puts John up on stage in lights it translates into some kind of major new announcement(s) or highlights Cisco’s focus on that particular market. I’ll be blogging on the RSA show announcements this week so be sure to check back. The fun begins tomorrow! Cisco has lined up two live webcasts you can tune into:
- TechWiseTV LIVE at RSA: Addressing Modern Threats With Architectural Security – April 22, 2009 02:00 PM PST
- The CEO of Cisco, John Chambers, will be giving a keynote address on April 22, 3:15 p.m. Pacific Time.
