Check this out: Unity 8.0 EFT Opportunity Unity 7.0 was just announced in January and Unity 8.0 is almost getting into early field trial (late June 09 is the D-day). Gotta love Cisco’s version upgrades, software subscription never looked more attractive. Seems like there are some interesting features in there: Speech Enabled Directory – Callers can speak the name of the person they wish to reach when they access the auto-attendant. Currently, callers need to spell the name, using touch tones. This one is already there in Unity Connection. Spoken Commands – Subscribers can use spoken commands to navigate through the conversation, saying things such as “Send Message,” “Delete Message” and “Hang-up.” Currently, subscribers can speak the only the names of touch tones. Also in Unity Connection … Not sure if there are still available places for the early field trial. If interested then try the EFT Coordinator and see. TIA, Avner.
