The Best of Interop Awards are going well this year, this being my first appearance as a judge. I have had a few people ask me if I was going to judge this year, so I decided it was time to let everyone know. The process is going well; I cannot give out to many details as to what I am judging or who the entries are since that’s not fair. But the people who I am working with on the awards are very well knowledgeable and great to work with.
It has been a good time so far and I am looking forward to picking a winner soon for Interop. Given that this will not influence my decision or any of the judges at all; I wanted to see who the readers thought would have the biggest influence at Interop. This has nothing to do with awards so who do you think will come away with the biggest bang?
Could it be routing and switching, security, cloud computing or maybe something new? What will Cisco do at Interop and how will it effect companies such as HP or EMC?
