System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 is released to manufacturers

It’s official. System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 has been released to manufacturing, Microsoft reports. General availability for those interested in volume licensing is on track for October 1, according to the System Center Team Blog.

A 180-day evaluation version of this latest release is available today too on the Microsoft Download site. You can access it here. SCVMM 2008 R2 includes the long-awaited feature, Live Migration. Here is a list of its other features, according to Microsoft.
