The competition was tough as we received so many entries for last month’s two Cisco Subnet giveaways: a Nintendo Wii courtesy of Cisco learning partner Skyline-ATS, and one of 15 copies of Router Security Strategies: Securing IP Network Traffic Planes by Gregg Schudel and David J. Smith.

Before we announce the winners, here are the questions and answers to last month’s trivia questions:

Question to win the book: ASE is a new feature in IOS release 12.4(15)T1 that is designed to find and stop worms and viruses on the network. What is the full name of ASE? Answer: Automatic Signature Extraction.Question to win the Wii: Answer: Barcelona, Spain.

In which European city did Cisco hold its recent Networkers Europe 2008 conference?

And congratulations to the winner of the Nintendo Wii:

Cliff Becker, a system engineer for Pomeroy It Solutions based in Hebron, Ky.

We’re happy to report that the Wii will be useful for his Cisco exam studies: “Someday I hope to complete the R&S CCIE, something I started a couple of years ago.  I think the Wii will be a good distraction for the kids and allow me to focus on my studies.” Becker has been with Pomeroy since October 1997 and his primary responsibility is the installation and troubleshooting of network hardware, with Cisco as his main focus. He adds: “As a side, 2 or 3 years ago I took a Cisco CallManager class with Skyline in Baltimore, MD and it was one of the best Instructor led classes that I have ever attended.”

Good luck with the studies, Cliff!
