Power Consumption Will Become A Serious Issue

I am in August issue of Processor Magazine discussing how VoIP and other technologies from one aspect have reduced the power requirements in the computer room from smaller more efficient switches, have at the same time increased the demand for other types of server equipment. The rapidly increasing need for computing equipment will at some stage require us to rethink how we deploy computing resources and to start to look for smaller power footprints.
