MediaPost has a great write up on Flickr and how it’s become more than just a place to share photos with friends and family. Many, including yours truly, use it as a way to get feedback on their work, join in on a community such as the excellent New Hampshire group, and as a place to learn about taking better photos. MediaPost details a number of people who have gone on from point-and-shooters to professional photogs. The article seems to have read my mind when it comes to all the high points of Flickr. If you’re into to photography, even just a little, give Flickr a try. But be warned: It can be addicting.
Flickr is more than a photo sharing site
