Cistera last night played a prominent part in the launch of the Cisco Industry Solution Partner Program. At the Cisco Worldwide launch held in Dublin Ireland, Cisco show cased a joint collaboration effort between Cisco, Cistera and Digitel Corp (of Atlanta) for the City of Opelika AL and the City of Smyrna.
Solution providers that join ISPN have to commit to building practices based on repeatable solutions and designate sales and technical resources to support the practices. In exchange, partners will receive training and other educational resources, access to proposal-based joint marketing funds and access to collaborative tools such as Partner Space.
One of the reasons that this is news is that partners will get extra Cisco margin from selling solutions that include Cistera solutions which has never happened before. Cistera is one of the largest vendors in this program. You can read more here.
