More Microsoft Plug In Nightmares

First they rip the Daily Show off You Tube and force us to go to the super slow comedycentral.com site. Now they have created a new “super” site for Comedy Central powered by something called “Silverlight” which to my understanding is a Flash clone. I am not interested in loading another plugin, especially one from Microsoft. I don’t get it, what is the problem with using Flash for the player?. For the record I refused to add another plugin for media playing. Flash is the defacto standard for cross platform media playing. I will have to find my Daily Show fix somewhere else.
