Cisco Chambers: Service providers will spend for another decade

Cisco CEO John Chambers is bullish that spending by service providers will continue for the next 10 years as service

providers work to overhaul their networks to offer advanced multimedia and convergence services to their subscribers. Chambers made the statement at a news conference in Tel Aviv, during his trip to the Middle East, reports Reuters. “We clearly bet on this, not in the last year or two. We bet going back six, seven years ago when we put almost 50 percent of our R&D investment in service providers,” he told reporters.
