At Streaming Media East this week, streaming service provider Mirror Image announced it will be upgrading its network to increase capacity by 600%. Not surprising given that network traffic increased 120% for Q1 2006 as compared to the same quarter last year. It also won’t be surprising to see more content providers following suit with the popularity of online video sites like YouTube continuing to grow.
