The Wall Street Journal is reporting that ABC will begin offering some of its popular shows (Desparate Housewives, Lost) free on the Web the day after the original broadcast. The stream would include commercials and technology that would prevent one from fast-fowarding through the ads. There goes an hour of productivity and who knows how much bandwidth as employees watch the show they missed the night before. For those that don’t want the commercials, they can pay $1.99 on iTunes for an ad-free version.
