OKINET to offer energy management system

OKI Network Integration announced Monday that it will begin offering CoolClover for IT device energy management. The software package uses power settings on network computers and other devices in order to provide an overall reduction of power consumption. The system provides an easy method of reducing power on idle computers and provides reporting to show the amount of energy used by each network component. By analyzing the amount of energy being consumed, users will become increasingly aware of the importance of conservation and actions which reduce consumption. CoolClover will be available Oct. 20.
