There is a clear correlation with SIP trunk adoption and more a more aggressive IT culture. Two-thirds of organizations that are using or planning to use SIP trunks consider their IT shops bleeding edge or aggressive. The remaining third of organizations consider their IT shops moderate or conservative. This bodes well for SIP security. In general, we find more aggressive IT shops are more aggressive in their deployment of new security technologies.
