Blade announces virtual machine networking for HP BladeSystem

BLADE Network Technologies announced at VMworld availability of VMready, which supports thousands of virtual switch ports for use with the HP 1:10Gb Ethernet BL-c switch. BLADE’s VMready switch-resident software is part of BLADE’s Cloud Ready Network Architecture, which equips data center managers to build virtual infrastructures. VMready enables virtualization across the data center infrastructure for greater productivity, better resource utilization, advanced energy efficiency and improved business continuity. The BLADEHarmony Premium Service provides HP BladeSystem customers with 24×7 support and upgrades to BLADE software products for a three-year period. This service is priced at $600 for the HP 1:10Gb BL-c switch.
