Intel on Monday announced that it has reorganized its business units around core competencies of the Intel architecture. As post of the reorganization, the company consolidated all its product divisions into the Intel Architecture Group, co-headed by Sean Maloney and Dadi Permutter. The company also announced that its global manufacturing group will report to Andy Briant and that its micro-architecture planning, microprocessor and chipset development, system on a chip solutions and wireless teams will be managed by Steve Pawlowski, Sunil Shenoy, Rony Friedman, Rob Crooke and Raviv Melamed respectively. Separately, Intel announced that Pat Gelsinger and Bruce Sewell have left the company.
