Avocent enhances data center management software

Avocent on Wednesday announced enhancements to its MergePoint Infrastructure Explorer software. MergePoint provides resource management of heating, cooling, power and space and asset management capabilities, so that IT administrators can manage their data centers more effectively. Avocent has enhanced MergePoint’s change management, capacity search capabilities and rack timeline.
