Citrix recently announced a new version of its virtualization management software for Microsoft Hyper-V. Citrix Essentials 5.5 for Microsoft Hyper-V now includes StorageLink Site Recovery, a set of tools that make business continuity easy to deploy. The Citrix Essentials 5.5 for Microsoft Hyper-V will be available in to editions: an Express edition and a Platinum edition. With StorageLink Site Recovery, administrators can setup, test and manage disaster recovery services, including utilization of storage hardware for replication. The Express edition is available as a free download; the Platinum edition is $3,000 per physical server.
