* Constantly updated resource provides one-stop shop for IT product research
Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Network World Buyer’s Guide Newsletter! Each week we will use this space to highlight one of more than 100 topical IT Buyer’s Guides and explain how that guide might help you in your IT product purchasing decisions.
We started the Network World IT Buyer’s Guide initiative eight months ago to provide readers with one-stop shopping for product research. Basically, we offer vendors the venue to enter detailed information about their products in one place, then we present that data collectively to our readers in a fashion where they can slice and dice it in order to find specific answers on how these products would fit into their own IT deployments. Currently, we have over 2,000 products listed all told. And that number grows daily as new vendors add information about their new products.
Today we’re highlighting our Document and Content Management Buyer’s Guide. The products and services featured in this quickly growing Buyer’s Guide can be used to track and store electronic documents and/or images of paper documents either on your desktop or across the enterprise. The features commonly provided by these systems include workflow processes, storage and archiving capabilities, versioning, metadata tagging, security management, as well as indexing and retrieval capabilities.
Several of the vendors listed in the Buyer’s Guide have also demonstrated their up and coming wares at the Network World sponsored Demo show. You can catch videos of quick and dirty product presentations by Koral, NextPage 2.0, Adobe, and IntelleDox.
