We can do without a do-not-track list

Chris Walters at The Consumerist offers a reasonable counter to those calling for an online “do not track” list similar to the federal government’s Do Not Call registry for telephone numbers. “A do-not-track list is overkill, and a fearful reaction against emerging technologies,” he writes.
