What’s all the Safari-on-Windows hype about?

Man, the Apple faithful are hyped up that yet another Apple innovation (for lack of a better word) has been ported to the world of Windows. Now, Windows users can download Safari as yet another browser option (and potential security risk). But why? Isn’t Firefox already better on either Mac or PC. My photography teacher, a Mac guy, was having a bunch of connectivity issues on his machine. A tech told him it was a Safari issue causing the problem, so I suggested he try Firefox. He loves it. As for me, I don’t think I’ll be running out to get Safari on all my machines any time soon. I’ll stick with Firefox.
