Among the things you can do with the Global Configuration Code service command include enable or disable the Cisco IOS DHCP server and relay agent; use the service linenumber command to notify the user of the router’s or switch’s async line number used at login; and use the service sequence-numbers command to insert sequence numbers into log files.
