Cisco, Trend Micro collaborate on security in routers

Cisco and Trend Micro have extended their three-year-old collaboration with plans to incorporate Trend Micro’s security services into Cisco’s networking gear, reports Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

The two firms’ relationship begain in 2004 when when the two companies integrated Trend Micro’s content security services with Cisco’s Adaptive Security Appliance family. The latest agreement integrates additional content security features into Cisco routers.
