I’m a big fan of bumper stickers. They often show deep insights and great wit in just a single line — one of my current favorites is “Somewhere in Texas a village is missing its idiot.” What prompted this blog entry was that in e-mail messages people’s “sig” nowadays often contains a virtual bumper sticker and I just read one I liked a lot:
UNIX *is* user friendly. It’s just selective about who its friends are.
