And by unbelievable I mean I don’t believe it.
According to this Reuters report, a 24-year-old Englishman, bachelor David Brown, awoke one morning with a phone number bouncing around his brain, so he decided to contact the mystery digits with this text message:
“Did I meet you last night?”
Michelle Kitson, a single 22-year-old woman – what great fortune for our man Brown – received the message. And, against all odds, common sense and survival instincts, Kitson opted to reply.
The rest, as they say, is marriage. The happy couple recently returned from a honeymoon in India.
Now, I have no actual evidence on which to base my suspicion and I firmly believe that anything is possible, as in the O.J.-will-find-the-real-killer meaning of that phrase.
But honestly, isn’t it just ever-so-slightly more probable that the fellow Brown found himself smitten with Kitson, managed to cadge her phone number, and then believed this tale of blind fate to be a more appealing explanation than the appearance of his stalking her?
Like I said: No evidence, I’m just saying.
