Looking to convert Adobe Premiere users into Final Cut Pro/Express customers, Apple launched a new program today that offers significant rebates to those that make the jump. Those running Premiere can trade their disks in for a free copy of Final Cut Express (normally $299) or a $500 rebate on Final Cut Pro 4, which retails around $999. Windows or Mac Premiere users are invited to make the switch, though neither version of Final Cut runs on a Windows machine (surprise, surprise). Anyone buying a new Mac can get Final Cut Express for $99. The deals run through September 20, 2003.
