Waiting for Tivo update

I thought I was going to be able to film my first video blog – a look at the TiVo’s new PC-to-DVR video transfer capability – today, but turns out I don’t quite have all the right software updates on my TiVo. So, gotta wait a few days for that to arrive. I did put my system on the priority list. In other TiVo news, they’ve launched an Ambassador contest for those in the affiliate program that have scored 25,000 points (essentially 5 referrals) by the end of November. Those that meet the criteria can film their own 3 minute video on why they love TiVo and potentially with $50,000 in prized.
