Reading up on Cisco’s latest security alerts issued yesterday, Dave Lewis writing in LiquidMatrix Security Digest, said he noticed a tool to help rate vulnerabilities in Cisco products. It’s called the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Online Calculator.
Cisco.com explains that CVSS was commissioned by the National Infrastructure Advisory Council and is maintained by FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams), of which Cisco is involved.
