Juniper: Just stay focused

While its biggest competitor is moving higher up the stack, Juniper says it won’t be following Cisco and will instead focus on routers and network security equipment, according to a story by Reuters. “We’re not going to be all things for the networks. We’re not going to compete and play the portfolio game with Cisco. That’s not something that we ever intend to do,” Steven Wastie, vice president of enterprise marketing at Juniper, told Reuters in an interview.
