Being that it's 4th of July weekend, you might find yourself by a pool sometime over the next few days. And if you have the new iPhone 3GS, it might be reassuring to hear that if you happen to clumsily drop your shiny new device into a pool of water, it might still work.

Being that it’s 4th of July weekend, you might find yourself by a pool sometime over the next few days. And if you have the new iPhone 3GS, it might be reassuring to hear that if you happen to clumsily drop your shiny new device into a pool of water, it might still work. While I would never recommend anyone doing this on purpose, one fellow did it by accident a couple weeks back. As he was testing out his new iPhone’s ability to capture video, the man in question accidentally dropped his iPhone into an outdoor pool. Quickly picking it back up, he realized that not only did the phone still work, but that it was still recording!
