Tech crowd asked to choose their favorite seasonal transition
I’ve long been a fan of Slashdot polls, and this one asks the site’s techie crowd if they get outside enough to have a favorite seasonal transition.
To me the choice is obvious — our current switch from summer to autumn rules — and a 32% plurality of 16,510 poll participants agree as of this writing. Winter to spring stands second with 22%.
Some 600 respondents passed on all four of the standard choices, opting instead for: “I work at McMurdo Station, you insensitive clod!” … Who knew it was so crowded there?
