Microsoft to enforce Sender ID checks

Could this be the beginning of the end of spam? Dare to dream. Microsoft says that by October it will start checking mail bound for its Hotmail, MSN and Microsoft.com e-mail accounts for the Sender ID – which means the mail would have to come from valid e-mail servers to get through.

Verizon jumps into consumer VoIP with VoiceWing
