Force10 raises the 10G bar, again

Force10 Networks this week breaks the terabit barrier with a switch that has a total capacity well over a terabit per second. This Ferrari of the switch world can do 672 ports of Gigabit Ethernet, or 56 ports of 10 Gigabit, all with plenty of headroom. Of course you don’t need this kind of bandwidth all packed into one box – but it’s nice to know it’s available if you ever do.
