Microsoft, Lindows.com trial delayed again

It’s hard to believe it has been two years since Microsoft sued Lindows.com over a name that rhymes with Windows. It’s even harder to believe that the suit won’t be going to court just yet. It was first scheduled for last April, then rescheduled for next month, and now it has been re-rescheduled.

WNP: Day One

The first day of wireless number portability was uneventful, according to analysts. While exact figures were not available, fewer than 100,000 users made porting requests on Monday, Nov. 24, according to analyst firm Mobile Competency. The firm said Verizon Wireless and Nextel were both big “winners” after the first day of porting, while “losers” included AT&T Wireless and Cingular Wireless.
