Yesterday we told you about the odd-and-“absolutely-not-paid-for” A9 reference on last week’s “The O.C.”

Now searchenginewatch.com reports that Ask Jeeves was tossed about on last week’s “Arrested Development” by none other than Henry Winkler (Ed. – The Fonz!), playing the lawyer for the increasingly delusional Bluth family. What’s next, Wisenut on “Desperate Housewives”?

However, unlike A9 execs, who swear they didn’t know of or pay for the name drop, an Ask Jeeves exec has a connection with “Arrested Development” – but also says swears no cash changed hands. This must be some bizarre L.A. barter system.

In other news, we’re trying to get Layer 8 in on this TV name-drop bonanza. If anyone has any ins with “Sabado Gigante,” let us know.
