Researchers at the University of Maryland found that American businesses spend nearly $22 billion a year deleting spam from their inboxes. The survey of 1,000 adults found that on average, users receive 18.5 junk e-mails each day and spend 2.8 minutes deleting them. Extrapolated out there’s your $22 billion. Surprisingly, the survey found 75% get spammed daily. That’s it? Sounds low.
Anyway, here’s your ammo, go get that anti-spam program. (Ed. – Survey, schmurvey. FLOOD THAT INBOX!)
