School reverses RFID decision

The Northern California school district that mandated RFID badges for all students has reversed its decision.

School officials scuttled the program after heated protests from parents and civil liberty advocates.

“I’m disappointed; that’s about all I can say at this point,” Superintendent Earnie Graham told the AP. “I think I let my staff down. Nobody on this campus knows every student.”
