According to the release: “Called the Clearswift Threat Assessment Suite and found online at www.clearswift.com/threattest, it simulates over 30 menaces that corporate networks fall victim to, identifying the key vulnerabilities in their content security infrastructure. The test works by sending up to 32 emails that spoof various malware threats, making their detection difficult by embedding them in a variety of common file formats like Excel workbooks, Word documents and PDF.”
Now, we sincerely hope that every test is not geared to default to “Hey, you could use a Clearswift solution!” We’re sure that’s not the case, but we’re just that cynical. If you try it, let us know if it was worth your time.
