Apple fans are devoted to the company for many reasons, one of which is that it didn’t act like a big, faceless money-grubbing machine. Until now, that is.
With the company suing three bloggers for leaking product information, the faithful are now wondering what’s become of the Apple they knew and loved.
“Some now view Apple like a star turning on his fans, as if, say, U2 or Tom Cruise tried to shut down their fan clubs,” writes the L.A. Times.
The paper looks at the lawsuits and the ripple effect they’re having on Apple’s biggest fans, as they realize the company is acting like every other major technology vendor.
