Illegal P2P use dropping

‘Net researchers say the use of P2P file-sharing systems is dropping while paid downloads are skyrocketing.

A study from the Pew Internet and American Life Project shows that 21% of music downloaders say they still use P2P systems, compared with 31% in February 2004.

On the other hand, the use of paid download services doubled, jumping from 17% last year to 34% this year. That number would climb even higher if iTunes would finally add some Badfinger. You hear us, Apple?
