Good God, we love this story.
Star Wars fans have already started lining up/camping out in front of Hollywood’s famous Graumans Chinese Theatre in anticipation of the May 19 release of “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.” That’s not a surprise, as in Star Wars circles it’s pretty much a tradition by now.
What is a surprise – at least to those who have been living in front of Graumans for weeks – is news that the movie will not be shown at the landmark theatre. Apparently, Episode III will be released instead to the new premiere theatre in town, the Arclight.
Now the line in Graumans has turned into a protest and those in line are refusing to leave. Line-sitters think they shouldn’t have to move over to the Arclight, and want Graumans to follow tradition and show Episode III like it has the other 5 Star Wars films.
