MTV is turning to the Internet to return to its roots: music videos.
The channel will launch MTV Overdrive on April 25, which will feature “non-stop music and news” for those with a broadband connection. Looks like the “M” in MTV is getting pushed online.
The New York Post reports MTV has created a digital media studio inside its Times Square offices to create content for the site and has also appointed an executive to oversee its new Internet projects.
