Take heart: Your 2005 salary is larger than that of Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, who say they’ll only take $1 for their year of toil.

Of course, both men are worth a couple billion, so they’re not exactly Mother Teresa. In a recent filing with the SEC, Brin and Page say they’ll take their $1, but no other further compensation in bonuses or share options. Last year, the pair each made $150,000. CEO Eric Schmidt, who last year made $250,000 in salary, is also going the All-For-A-Dollar route.
